Due to reverse slope towards window, external rain water will not drain easily and water will penetrate inside house through frame and sill junction. This will lead to paint deterioration and other damages internal wall surface around window in long run.
Recommend masonry repair at external sill providing adequate slope towards external side.
Improper position of switchboard near gas stove.
Position of a switchboard near gas stove is unsafe as there is high probability of electrical hazard which can easily spread in associated areas due to presence of gas stove near it. It is a safety hazard for occupants.
We recommend to reposition the switch board for safety purpose.
Flexible pipe used as a sink drain outlet.
Using flexible pipe as a sink drain outlet may lead to blockage at concealed drain pipe line. It can hamper occupants by creating unhealthy and unhygienic condition. It also adds cost and time lag due to repair work.
We recommend to install a suitable trap (Bottle / S / P type traps) for sink drain outlet.
A plumbing trap is provided to receive solid waste from washbasin, kitchen sinks and other appliances .This reduces the chance of drain blocking.
Efflorescence noted at wall surface.
We recommend sanding, washing the area with salt neutralizer and rewashing with fresh water.
If grouting not provided at junction between floor drain outlet pipe and floor tile, there will be moisture seepage and spread through junction.
This will ultimately lead to unhealthy & unhygienic condition for residents and can lead to deterioration at below storey ceiling surface in due course of time.
By providing proper grouting, we can keep our home safe and healthy.
Gap noted in between wall and floor tiles in bathroom.
These gaps will be a path for water to flow and hence will create dampness / seepage in associated areas. Step 1 – Existing tile joint filler to be removed by mechanical or manual process.
Step 2 – Tile joints to be filled using appropriate tile grout, as per manufacturer’s specification.
A suitable material used for filling the gap at junction.
Packing not provided around AC pipe at exterior wall.
If packing is not provided, then unwanted water and dust from external area will enter house, chances of insect & bird infestation will occur. This will also increase condensation from AC gas pipe, which will lead to paint deterioration & water seepage in future, resulting in deterioration of both home and human health.
We recommend packing with suitable grade cement mortar followed by primer and paint finish.
Significant damages noted at wall due to improper anchorage of door frame and failure of wall surface due to impact during door operation.
Damage at walls has happened due to improper anchorage of door frame. If not rectified at the right time, it can further deteriorate wall condition along with separation of frame from wall surface during the impacts. This would lead to decrease in strength of walls and difficulty in smooth operation of door. Hence hampering occupants by adding repair cost and time.
We recommend masonry repair with fiber mesh & suitable additive.

If these gaps are not filled with proper material, then fixing of the frame with wall will not be firm and will act as insect / termite hub. It may also lead to water seepage.
